There are so many reasons why people like to volunteer, if you wish to be part of our team, even if your area of desired joining in is not listed, please do get in touch - we are always open to suggestions.
Our aim is to bring something good and special to our local community be it through direct interaction with the animals, the experience of Same Day Eggs, set in beautiful countryside where so many different wild animals can be spotted, peace of mind and all for free.
We would be delighted to receive images that can be published on our page
Fresh Raw Goats milk has significant advantages, it is also very costly to produce for public sale.
Raw milk is NOT full of dead bacteria and dead enzymes, much of what makes milk so good for us.
Pasteurisation means we consume masses of dead bacteria and dead enzymes; it is believed, now, that this is the likely cause of the sudden emergence of lactose intolerance.
If you are interested in having a local supply of Fresh Raw Goats Milk, maybe you would also be interested in joining us to form at team that helps to make this happen.
A second pair of hands, when COVID19 restrictions persist and always with COVID19 'common sense' applied, is often welcome and speeds up the process of expanding the pens and creating new areas and better hay storage..
A new Solar Fence Energiser would make a great renewable energy addition to Goat Force, subject to fundraising or kind donation.
Sharing our page or helping to improve our page is always greatly appreciated. That may be in the form of asking a question via the 'Contact Us' form. If you have a question, so might many others and then your question may become part of the information provided on this page.
Web pages, as no doubt you are aware, come at a cost, monetarily and time wise, any assistance with either aspect would be gratefully received.
Very little truly professional research has been done with regards to goats, in general. Goat meat and milk is the most consumed milk and meat in the world, however, very much in the Developing countries, up until now. America is beginning to change this.
Sadly, as a result, little research has been done into goat husbandry in general. Most of what we know is based on research into other animals of similar biological make-up. and a huge amount of trial and error by herd owners, again largely in the States.
There are one or two particularly problematic conditions for goats, that do not effect their viability as 'producers' so once again there has not been any drive for funding research into prevention or vaccines and certainly not cures as the abettor resolves all.
If there could ultimately be a way forward to encourage interest and funding for research into some of these conditions, Goat Force would love to help to instigate and promote interest for the sake of future Goat welfare.
