The Newbury 4
The 'Newbury 4', the goats that our visitors have access to, came from Newbury.
This small herd was purchased to help raise awareness for and be part of funding raising projects in London.
There were concerns about possible CAEV (see link for details). Fund raising and testing has proved they are CAEV free.

Immediate veterinary advice was sort on the return from Newbury

Dispatch of the Nanny goats
With the fear of CAE and no isolation pen available, the agreed (with Animal Heatlh and RSPCA) agenda was to dispatch the nannies
'Newbury 4' Kid Enclosure
The 'Newbury 4' kid enclosure area was cleared (by kind volunteers), rubbish removal (the kind volunteers) and fencing was erected at cost

Decission time
The decision had been made to dispatch the Newbury 4' kids once they had matured enough to do so.
However, their popularity has made us have a rethink
They are now under threat for other reasons; you can help protect them for free by sending an email in support of them staying
Testing all on-Site Goats
Testing has been completed by kind fund raising from Trent Park Running club - delighted to say we got the 'ALL' clear

'Newbury 4' Kid Enclosure Expansion Plans
We have a Wendy house but to erect it as per the Indoor Outdoor Uk Anchor Children's Play House would suit goats natural desire for a high ground viewing vantage point.
Raising the floor off the ground, thus preventing unwanted critters from piggy backing on our accommodation accomplishments.
This part of the project has a dedicated team, complete with elaborate plans.
Building Materials and Tools
Good quality materials and tools that are surplus to requirement will be gratefully received,
Original Plans
Following a number of Publicity stunts, in or around London, the original plan was to then sell the, by then famous, goats, to fund what we were promoting.
COVID19 interference again!
However, sadly some jealous individuals do not like supporting the community; your help and support would be greatly appreciated to keep the project running for your enjoyment.

If they are to stay, which seems to be the popular consensus, then much has to be done and hearing your opinion will help us make these decisions.
